Random Acts of Kindness

The Kindness Challenge. Each Friday, Global is performing a random act of kindness in our community. Kate and Morgan delivered coffee to the team at LifeMark on Friday April 1st to launch our challenge. We’re inviting you to rally behind this cause and act kindly or record witnessed acts of kindness. When  you create a post on Global’s Facebook page describing an act of kindness (without using names), you’ll gain an entry into our Kindness Draw on April 29 at our Member Appreciation Night for your chance to win some great prizes (read below).*Winners drawn must be on site to claim their prize. She received her Master’s of Science at McMaster University, her PhD at the University of Saskatchewan, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Western University. Mary’s research develops and tests novel self-regulatory strategies to bolster exercise adherence, particularly for individuals seeking weight loss. Secondary interests include mHealth and program evaluation, and adherence to healthy diets. Mary is a Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar, and her research is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, as well as the Public Health Agency of Canada. Dr. Jung’s research and involvement in the local community was recently acknowledged as a recipient of the ‘Top 40 Under 40’ award in the Okanagan. Mary E.
