Joey has been involved in the sport of squash since the age of 11 when he was introduced to the game by the Squash Professional at the Four Seasons Racquet Club which is now Global Fitness Centre. Since that time he has competed in many tournaments as a junior and adult player. As a junior he achieved ranking as high as first in B.C. and fourth in Canada, and as an adult as high as first in Alberta, and the top ten in Canada.
Joey is a fully certified Level III N.C.C.P. coach. He worked in Edmonton as Head Professional from 2000-2008, as well as all over the Lower Mainland from 2008-present.
He has had much experience chairing events such as the 2005 World Masters Games in Edmonton, as well as the 2013 Canadian Junior Championships last April in Richmond.
Joey enjoys working with all age groups from beginners to advanced level players. He is now available for private and semi-private lessons, as well as drills, clinics, and hitting sessions. Whether you need to improve your speed, fitness, and agility, or your technical game, he will create a program specific to whatever your needs may be. He is hoping to expand the number of participants in this exciting sport at the club.
Joey is happy to return to Kelowna and is excited about being part of the team at Global.
