Tara P

Tara began her studies 20 years ago at a time when tragedy, loss and pain came to a point where it was unbearable.  At that time she was pursuing her studies and work in physical therapy, occupational therapy and fitness training.  Tara started searching for another way to ‘feel better’ that conventional medicine and exercise could not give her.  This lead to many years of studies, travel and experience in holistic and energy healing, yoga,  meditation, and breath work  which ‘gifted’ Tara better health, wholeness, and a deeper joy and love for life.

Tara is trained and passionate in various holistic modalities, as well a registered yoga teacher since 2003 (500RYT), meditation, breath work, nutrition, raw foods, and ayurveda.   A regular yoga and meditation practice and ongoing studies has been foundational in Tara’s life and teaching.  Tara teaches therapeutic and alignment based yoga with a focus around restoring and rejuvenating the body mind.

“I am very dedicated to my practices and have wonderful supportive teachers.  I have two amazing children and a deep love for my family and friends.  I love preparing and eating good food (raw and ayurvedic), reading and studying any chance I get, yoga, meditative practices, holistic health and healing, transpersonal psychology work, breathwork, traveling, surfing and many sports.  I love being creative, especially with my little ones, as well as being in the great outdoors hiking or on my paddle-board. I  love being of service to my community and I am so grateful to be able to share and serve from my heart.”

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be” ~Marianne Williamson
